🧐 IAGTO stands for 'International Association of Golf Tour Operators'.
Established in 1997, IAGTO is the global trade organisation of the golf tourism industry, and has 2340 members in over 95 countries including more than 660 golf tour operator members in 68 countries, which are responsible for more than 90% of golf vacation packages sold worldwide and which collectively have annual sales of over USD 2.5 billion.
🌏 🏆 The prestigious IAGTO Awards:
Tour operators in the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) vote annually to recognize outstanding service by golf courses, resorts, travel companies, and destinations.
In 2024, for the first time, the annual IAGTO Awards have been divided into 3 global regions: Asia, Europe and America.
The Asia Pacific Awards were announced in March 22, 2024, during the 10th edition of the annual Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC), in Abu Dhabi.

The European Awards were announced in May 2024, during IAGTO’s European Convention (IEC, 13-15 May, in Malaga).
🗓 Note: the 2025 edition of the IEC will be held from 19-21 May in Gran Canaria.
