  • The PGA Tour Q-School (Qualifying School) presented by Korn Ferry is a rigorous multi-stage tournament that serves as the primary pathway for professional golfers to earn their playing privileges on the Korn Ferry Tour and, ultimately, the PGA Tour.

  • Q-School has a rich history, dating back to the 1960s, and has produced countless legendary golfers.

  • Traditionally, the tournament consisted of a series of progressively challenging qualifying rounds where golfers competed to earn tour membership. Participants would navigate through multiple stages, including local and sectional qualifying events, with the final stage being a grueling six-round tournament that determined who would receive tour cards. However, in recent years, the qualification process has been modified, with the Korn Ferry Tour now playing a more significant role in determining PGA Tour membership.

  • The event represents a critical moment in many professional golfers' careers, where talented players can transform their dreams of playing at the highest level of professional golf into reality. For many aspiring professional golfers, successfully navigating Q-School is a pivotal milestone that can define their competitive trajectory and open doors to potentially lucrative professional opportunities.

  • At Final Stage of 2024 PGA Tour Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, the top 5 finishers and ties will earn PGA TOUR cards for the 2025 season. Final Stage will also determine 2025 season eligibility for the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas.

  • 📐 Pete Dye is the primary architect of the Dye's Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass. He is renowned for creating challenging and visually stunning golf courses.

  • 💰 Purse: $510,000

  • Previous winner: 🇦🇺 Harrison Endycott ($50,000). This victory was a significant achievement for Endycott, who had already spent a year on the PGA Tour in 2023 but had only secured conditional status for the following year. Endycott's dominant performance at the Q-School was highlighted by his consistent play throughout the four rounds. He opened with a strong 65 and followed it up with three more rounds in the 60s, ultimately finishing at 15-under par. This impressive score was enough to secure a four-shot victory over the field and earn him one of the five coveted PGA Tour cards.

  • 🏆 Winner 2024: 🇺🇸 Lanto Griffin ($50,000) - Age: 36 - Turned Pro in 2010.

Griffin secured his PGA Tour card by winning the 72-hole final stage of Q-School with a three-shot lead and a stunning final-round 63.
